Welcome to Year Two. We are looking forward to an exciting and busy year. We will be working hard on becoming more independent and trying our best.
Reading is so important in Year Two and your will bring home a book each night to share with someone at home. Homework will be given out each week to help us practice our spelling and Maths! We will celebrate homework in class and Phase Assemblies.
We are hoping to plan in lots of fantastic trips and special opportunities and make this the best year yet!
Our teachers are Mrs Griffin and Mrs Fieldhouse (Buttercup Class), Miss Cains (Daffodil Class) and Miss Pierce (Sunflower Class).
What we've been doing:
Visit to Warleigh Lodge Farm
14th July 2017
This week Year Two have visited Warleigh Lodge Farm. We've had an amazing time helping Farmer Julian with jobs around the farm, including feeding the lambs, goats and hens, collecting eggs and grooming the donkey. We also really enjoyed walking around the farm and splashing in the muddy stream! Farmer Julian even gave us a ride back to the farm house on his tractor and trailor!
I paddled in the sticky mud!
Look at my muddy hands!
I liked feeding the goats because they tickled my hands!
