Orchestra awarded 'distinction' at Midsomerset Festival

We can all be immensly proud of our School Orchestra today. They took part in the Midsomerset Festival at the Roper Theatre in Hayesfield Upper School.

The adjudicator awarded them a 'distinction', along with Monkton Combe Preparatory School Orchestra, which was comprised of pupils up to and including Year 8. They scored a couple of marks more than us and were awarded the cup.

Our performance was judged to be:

'Excellent, both technically and artistically.'

Thanks to all the families who came to support us and a very big thank you to the Reverend Michelle Ireland who accompanied us on the piano.

The organizers commented on how Peasedown Orchestra has gone from strength to strength each year.

Well done us!
